Thommankuthu is my first solo tour. I enjoyed the motorcycle ride, I always do :-D. Thommankuthu is near to Vannappuram. It was discovered by great hunter Thommachen Kuruvinakunnel. It is a seven step waterfall well I saw 3 steps (may be there is more), the middle one was really big. It is under the forest department and the forest stretches as long as Idukki wildlife santuary. There is trekking in these forests for 1000 INR for 5 people and 100 INR extra per head. The minimum is 1000 INR so if you go alone or with 5 people the cost is 1000 INR, so plan wisely. Its heard the trekking has no limit, they 'll take you really inside. So you can enjoy but because its a forest I would say have patience.
